Welcome to long Night, which has an innovative "exploration-survival" experience and won Wired magazine's reputation as "the pinnacle of the whole category."

long Night is a thought-provoking game to explore survival. In the game, players need to explore the huge ice wilderness after the geomagnetic disaster, you have to think independently and find a way out. There are no zombies in the game-just you, the cold and all the cruelty of nature.

long Night's sub-chapter story mode "WINTERMUTE" is divided into five chapters, and the first season of the plot will be made up of two chapters that initially opened. These two chapters will be completely reproduced in December 2018, and in this reproduction update, you will see: new task structure, plot, dialogue, animation, etc.

Chapter 1: don't be depressed

under the influence of mysterious flashes in the sky, pilots in no man's land, will Mackenzie (player character) and Dr. Astrid Greenwood's plane crashed deep in the wilderness of northern Canada, forcing them to separate. In order to survive and find Astrid, Mackenzie went to Milton to explore. There, he began to understand the quiet post-disaster scenery.

Chapter 2: bright Fugue

in the search for Astrid, Mackenzie goes deep into this wild winter wilderness. A mysterious orc catcher may be the key to finding Astrid, but is he really credible? The first two chapters of

WINTERMUTE will give you about 15 hours of game time. The price of the game already includes the remaining chapters 3 to 5 at no extra charge, and the remaining chapters will be unlocked free of charge at the time of release.

explore the 50-square-kilometer wilderness of northern Canada in search of valuable supplies. Cold winter days, dynamic time, weather, wildlife and so on, everything is full of randomness, making survival more challenging.

Survival of the fittest

Hunting, fishing, trapping, climbing, mapping, searching for food and equipment for survival, trying to avoid deadly hostile wild animals, overcoming hypothermia, frostbite and dysentery (and other discomfort), finding and maintaining equipment that can save your life. Wolves, bears, moose, rabbits, deer and crows, which are your prey, will in turn turn you into their food. More species of wild animals will appear in future updates.

choose your experience

four unique experience patterns that allow you to choose the right level of challenge-for example, in "Pilgrim" mode, the world is quiet and gloomy, but in "intruder" mode, only the most experienced survivors have a chance to survive a week. If the four experience modes still don't satisfy you, use Custom Mode to customize the survival mode to create a game that suits your specific taste.

Challenge mode consists of several independent challenge levels that provide a goal-oriented experience. These levels take about 1-3 hours each, including "snow"-racing against time, gathering sufficient supplies to meet surging snowstorms, and "prey"-you need to avoid a ferocious bear. Completing these challenges can unlock a variety of capabilities and provide long-term gains for survival patterns. The official version was released with five challenges and will continue to be updated and added in the future.
