【Game Introduction】

this is a complete independent game that includes the famous Battle of Tunisia from November 1942 to June 1943. It is a sequel to the previous African Legion, but with a shorter time span and shorter rounds (every Monday). As an axis power, you must stick to Tunisia until Rommel's forces are safely withdrawn from Libya, and then procrastinate in North Africa for as long as possible. As an allied commander, you must make the best use of American, British and French forces to drive enemy troops out of African strongholds and prepare to land in Sicily and Italy at the beginning of the summer of 1943.
the African Legion: Tunisia has many scenes, covering different periods of the Tunisian campaign, from mid-November 1942 to June 1943. Small battles include the famous Battle of Catherine pass (the first defeat for the United States), the Battle of the Mareth Line, and the final Tunisian advance (Operation Vulcan). Medium-sized battles included the first entry into Tunisia (November 42-February 43) and the end of the battle from Rommel and the African Legion (March-June 1943). Finally, in a large battle scene, you can command Axis and Allied forces from fighting after Operation Torch in 1942 to the fall of Tunisia in the early summer of 1943. The duration of the
scenario ranges from 2 rounds (smaller scenarios) to more than 30 rounds, each representing a week from mid-November 1942 to the end of June 1943. One player controls the German and Italian (ground and air) forces of the Axis in Tunisia, while the other commands the American, British and French forces of the allies. The Axis powers had good military and air superiority at the beginning of the game, but bad weather and a lack of reinforcements prevented it from launching an unstoppable operation until the retreating African Legion appeared on the Libyan border. In a very short time, the advantages of quantity, tactics and quality will play a role in laying the foundation for a secure stronghold, but the overwhelming superiority of the allies in the air or on the ground will then turn the tide of the war.
Allied forces must hold and seize key throat routes at an early stage, move into positions that threaten Tunisia, and prepare for Rommel's arrival. The 8th Army is expected to appear in the southeast in the spring and is likely to play a key role in the fatal blow to the enemy.
pay attention to the potential weaknesses of some troops, especially the US ground forces, whose lack of combat experience may become a breakthrough for the enemy. Pay attention to your supply lines and, most importantly, control key junctions and throat roads (such as the famous Kesselin pass and the Mareth Line). Try to divide the enemy into different areas in order to concentrate superior forces to destroy them.
remember that there was a harsh winter in Tunisia, when there were so many Rain Water that it was difficult for troops to move: there was no long drive in the Libyan desert, and positional warfare like World War I was likely to occur in the rugged hills and mountains of Tunisia and eastern Algeria. The event board in the
game simulates a variety of situations in the diplomatic, military, political and economic fields, so it is of great value to replay.
estimated game time: one to more hours.
advantage side: none.
the most difficult: the allies.
Note: except for video tutorials (English only) and online rules (ibid.), the game is entirely in Chinese and can be played in this language. At present, our team has no way to translate all languages generally.
