Wildermyth is a character-based, randomly generated strategy RPG that allows players to tell the wildest legends possible. It inherits one of the most compelling elements of tabletop role-playing games: giving the player a lot of crucial choices and letting the character grow through them.

Inherit the mantle of tabletop role-playing games, each with its own unique heroes and Settings. Heroes age, change their appearance, fall in love with their comrades, and make difficult choices and even sacrifices in their adventures.
Every hero is born with a detailed background and a distinct character, and your choices and fighting skills determine their future and success.
Every hero dies... But your favorite hero will live forever. Re-use these characters in later adventures, allowing them to become mythic beings through life cycles and adventures.


The game is set in a distant place, a full and full fantasy world composed of hand-drawn 2D characters and scenery. We tried our best to break with tradition and explore new ideas: no orcs, elves or goblins in this world -- but beware of mind-snooping insect-shaped dragons and cogwheel mechanical undead!

Each of your heroes has a unique story, personality, and appearance, and creates a variety of emotional bonds with each other. This all changes and deepens over the course of the game, as the characters grow, age, experience anecdotes, and overcome hardships.


A crucial choice
Your character can decide to trust the elusive coyote God, causing a frightening change in his appearance and fighting abilities. Or they can fall in love with their comrades, giving each other battle boosts and more gripping stories. Both encounters and events have a profound effect on defining the character, allowing you to determine the story arc of each character.

Unique perspective of life and death
Did your favorite character get punched by a tentacled bear? Choosing to let him drag his crippled body off the battlefield, adding a twist to his legacy; Or let him sacrifice his life, and let generations celebrate his heroic sacrifice.

Co-combat and pincer attack each offer unique effects, but it's hard to get both; A wizard's ability to connect with his surroundings allows you to reshape the battlefield and turn the tide with ever-changing magic. A variety of difficulty options allows you to choose the challenge that suits you best.

In a multiplayer game, you and your friends will each control their own heroes to go on adventures. We recommend five people at a time. In a standard campaign, the player starts with three heroes, then increases to five. We also support Steam remote play

Endless replayability possible
Select from a large number of combat abilities and make your hero as he levels up, be it invincible, be it rock solid, be it sweep the battlefield, or be a ghost. Or he could spray the flames of all the lanterns around him into his enemy's face. Random generation gives you new heroes, new enemies, new maps, and new storylines for every game you play.





> The player can personally customize the character's appearance, name, personality, background, and much more. Over time, heroes may age and retire, or die in battle -- and some of them stay on the front lines all the time. You can immortify your favorite heroes in history and bring them out again later in the game. Write your own mythology and share your hero's inspiring stories with other players.
